Alanis Morissette "Crazy" Maverick/Warner Bros.Meiert Avis, directorNicole Acacio, producerPusher/Windmill Lane, production coRW Media, repDescription: Alanis Morissette plays a jilted lover in this video for her cover of the Seal hit, "Crazy." The singer stalks and then confronts a man who we presume to be her ex-lover. That presumption turns out to false, however, once we see the surprise ending and realize that Alanis was really involved with the woman.
The Subways "Rock & Roll Queen" Sire/Warner Bros.Paul Gore, directorCharlotte Woodhead, producerFlynn Productions, production coDescription: The Subways add to the wreckage with this rampaging performance of "Rock & Roll Queen" in what looks like a big top that's been abandoned after a disastrous circus. The band's total abandon and aggressive style here, not to mention the blurred and slo-mo filmwork, is definitely reminiscent of some other punk-influences rock trio.
The Go! Team "Lady Flash" Columbiano director creditedDescription: Double dutch teams, hula hoops and shots of New York and other cities are are just some of the elements in this retro, seemingly homemade video for "Lady Flash." It's an odd mix that certainly works, however, in conjunction with this band's eclectic mix of dance, funk, indie rock and hip-hop. The video is available for your viewing pleasure via the Go! Team player.
