WATCH IT: Kimbra "Come Into My Head" (Guy Franklin, dir.)

Kimbra is under examination and in danger of getting lobotimized by a team of cracked medical professionals in "Come Inside My Head." They seem mostly confused by her condition, thereby making them easy marks for the role-reversal that the singer has planned. --> watch "Come Into My Head"

WATCH IT: David Guetta f/ Sia "She Wolf" (Hiro Murai, dir.)

Director Hiro Murai presents a battle that changes the natural into digital in this David Guetta video, shot on-location in Iceland. The clip starts with a presumably scorned, yet clearly naked woman who conjures the power of wolves to wreak revenge on some cutthroat hunters. The attacks take the form of digitalized seismic disturbances that dangerously radiate across the icy landscape. --> watch "She Wolf"

CANADA: Beyond Mountains, More Mountains - Short Film

You learned about the directing team CANADA here in the music video room — in fact, I'd wager most of you were literally here on Videostatic when you first saw their breakthrough "El Guincho" — so it's only right we come along for the ride as they tackle a short feature. All the elements of their sexy surrealism remain in place for this 10 minute jaunt that starts with a quest for a missing boot through the boot of Italy, of course, but then fragments into a multi-layered look at a blossoming romance that's postcard perfect. --> watch "Beyond Mountains, More Mountains" (note: contains nudity)

WATCH IT: Miike Snow "Pretender" (Vern Moen, dir.)

Miike Snow fans — especially those who have continually rewatched their epically strange "Paddling Out" video in search of the meaning of life — will instantly recognize the band's recurrent character Jean Noel. Everyone else will be left wondering: Who's the dude with the big schnoz? "Pretender" features our hero experiencing all the perks of L.A.'s HARD Festival, including an on-stage romp with the band. --> watch "Pretender"

WATCH IT: Grizzly Bear "Yet Again" (Emily Kai Bock, dir.)

A figureskater breaks through the ice and into a cathartic journey of self-discovery that culminates in her childhood bedroom. If you're a fan of skating metaphors in music — and really, who isn't? — you might find yourself making quick connections to "The Thin Ice" and "River," or even "Trapped Under Ice" if you're a metalhead. --> watch "Yet Again" and check out an interview with Emily Kai Bock at The Creators Project
