In further proof that the rules are different when it comes to arguably the most famous music video of all time, another person involved with Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video has walked away with a check that would dwarf most music video budgets today, let alone what a similar actress would make for a video role.
Ola Ray, who co-starred as the girlfriend, settled a lawsuit earlier this year over unpaid royalties that is now being reported to have netted her $55,000.
Director John Landis and his producer settled a similar suit as well — asking for over $2 million — but the terms of his are still undisclosed.
