NEWS: Executive Switch at VH1 and MTV
MTV Networks announced last week that Christina Norman is the new President of MTV and Tom Calderone is now General Manager of VH1. Norman had been President of VH1; Calderone had been Executive Vice President of Music Programming and Talent for MTV & MTV2.

NEWS: Nominees Set For June 28 BET Awards
Nominees have been announced for the BET Awards. Ciara leads all nominees with four nods, with Kanye West, John Legend and Destiny's Child each receiving three nominations each.
Scheduled to be broadcast live on June 28 from Hollywood's Kodak Theater, the show will be hosted by celebrity couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. Patti LaBelle will receive the BET Lifetime Achievement Award and Denzell Washington and wife Pauleta will receive the BET Humanitarian Award.

NEWS: FUSE Summer Programming Line-up
FUSE has several new programs set to run throughout the summer...
Hiphop Confidential: A half-hour, daily, in-studio hip-hop music video show hosted by Marianela. Set to debut on June 6.
Metal Asylum: A half-hour, daily, in-studio hard rock music video show hosted by Juliya. The show debuted last week. Juliya's on-location metal show Uranium is also in production, with upcoming episodes to feature System Of A Down, Zakk Wylde and artists from the New England Metalfest.
Also, FUSE will once again be broadcasting performances and interviews from the Hot 97 Summerjam at Giants Stadium in New Jersey. This star-studded event is hosted by influential NYC hip-hop station Hot 97.
