NEWS: Aaron Stewart-Ahn/Decemberists Win Plug Video Award

DecemberistsThe Decemberists "Sixteen Military Wives" was honored as Music Video of the Year  at the 2006 Plug Awards, held last night in NYC. The clip was directed by Aaron Stewart-Ahn and can be viewed at his production company's site, otaku-house.com.

Most of the included videos were directed by Icelandic filmmaker Oskar Jonasson, while two of the bonus clips — "Hit" and "Walkabout" — were directed by Pedro Romhanyi. Also out on the same day is Sugarcubes Live Zabor DVD which contains fifteen live performance from 1988 and 1989 plus interviews with the band members.

NEWS: Director Phil Griffin Joins Anonymous

Anonymous Content has announced the signing of director Phil Griffin for music video and commercial representation in the United States. Griffin is one of the most prolific directors in the U.K., having worked with the likes of  Daniel Bedingfield, Westlife and Mis-Teeq. A more complete list of credits can befound at mvdbase.com.
