Director duo Adriano Vilanova and Georgie Curran direct a cameo-filled video for "Come Down", the new single from UK hip hop act WSTRN. The song samples the Evelyn king classic "Love Come Down".
Featuring Tinie Tempah, Example, Krept & Konan, Kehlani, and many more UK acts, the video plays out as a who's who of UK rap and R&B. The east London house party setting only adds to the prevailing celebratory feeling that UK rap is starting to get some well earned time in the spotlight.
Here's a way to make the most out of one location, but keep in mind it involves some of the most thrilling and impossible camera moves you've ever seen as we see whether this will be the song to save Labrinth's life.
In The Pines is not a safe place to be, but there's not much safety beyond them either. In this case we have a runner on a suicide mission of sorts, unable to outrun most of the arrows hurtling his way as he makes his way to a surprising last stand.
Chris Ullens, director: When this track came through for me to pitch on, I was immediately excited by it. I had been wanting to work with a string artist friend of mine (Sebastien Preschoux) for a few years, but we never seemed to find the right project. Then when I heard this dreamy track, with all the fluctuating electronic notes in it, I thought "this is it!" I had also wanted to do a video with land art animation in it for a while too, and thought this idea would work beautifully with Seb's strings and the whimsical tone of the track.
