In a post Gaga pop world, you have to work quite hard to make sure you get noticed. Rihanna has clearly taken that as a call to arms with this concerted effort to balance strength with sexiness. Set in some sort of apocalyptic wartime dreamscape, Rihanna shows off various looks — drill instructor Rihanna, G.I. Jane Rihanna, Road Warrior Rihanna, Princess Leia as Jabba's plaything Rihanna, Mickey Mouse meets Tank Girl Rihanna, etc, etc — but the shots of a near topless Rihanna firing a machine gun sums it all up as the kind of modern day Varga Girl fantasy that'll keep morale up. --> watch "Hard" plus a Behind The Scenes/Making-Of video

Never let it be said that the Black Eyed Peas are afraid to go big. Director Ben Mor meets the hip-pop act halfway between the planets Tatooine and Endor in this sci-fi romp, "Meet Me Halfway." The elaborate production boasts elephants, levitation, spacewalking, portals and Fergie, lots of Fergie, looking good as she lolls about the foliage. (PS: Don't tell Satriani, but this sounds kind of like Viva La Vida) --> watch "Meet Me Halfway"
