This new music video for French artist Breakbot is a surreal journey where cultures collide.
2 Good 4 Me plunges us into the life of a Lolita living in Tijuana, Mexico. Through the 24 hours shared with our japanophile heroine, the film paints a portrait of present-day urban youth. Adolescent fantasies and vices are omnipresent. Here our candy-colored kawaii character, however sweet she at first appears, plays the part of the sinner in this song. We follow her slow descent into Hell as the day progresses, as reality’s limits are blurred, offering the viewer an intimate almost symbiotic experience.
There's no "flashing" here, but there's plenty of lecherous as a dirty man trolls around London filming whatever catches his attention — which is usually butts and boobs. He might think it's harmless fun, until he learns otherwise the hard way and gets knocked out (which mayb have possibly been his goal all along).
Merely a teaser, but it's been a minute since we've seen Canada work their magic for a music video... And it looks like their erotique style is firmly intact, but with more of a sci-fi edge.
