Moss Kena "Square One" (Holly Blakey, dir.)

Avant Garde Director and Choreographer Holly Blakey directs a promo for rising artist Moss Kena’s track “Square One.” The video is visceral, a choreographic interplay of misplacement of power. In Blakey’s words "ambiguity, and the idea that we never find where power truly lies, is at the heart of this new video. Power moves on and on—nobody knows where it stops or where it began.” The track Square One marks the beginning of mysterious artist Kena’s more public career having come up through the Soundcloud underground.

Mobile Girl "Forest Coloss" (Ilona McIlwain, dir.)

LEZ are proud to share new music video from emerging director Ilona McIlwain in collaboration with Berlin based music producer mobilegirl for her debut EP ‘Poise’. The video for ‘Forest Coloss’ is a beautifully hypnotic compliment to her atmospheric and surreal sound. Bao, who features in the video is signed to

independent Swedish label Staycore and NYC label Discwoman, recently having made the  transition from DJ-ing to producing.

Everything Everything "Can't Do" (Holly Blakey, dir.)

For Everything Everything ‘Can’t Do’ Holly loved the idea of creating something dark, a horror film of sorts to harness the energy of the track in another light. She wanted to use dirt, creating a world seemingly locking it’s characters inside... it felt fitting due to the current political climate to create an inescapable place, more and more people being reborn, turning into things they never imagined. The band are represented in the form of masks which add to the surreal feel of the film.

Ryuichi Sakamoto "live mix" (Ilona McIlwain, dir.)

LEZ are very proud to share Ilona McIlwain’s directing debut. The film, commissioned by the Tate Modern in partnership with BMW, features a unique performance by 72 year old Japanese actor and performer Min Tanaka. The setting, an incredible fog sculpture by Fujiko Nakaya, provides an eerie and surreal setting for a mesmerising performance.

Complimented by sound from world renowned Ryuichi Sakamoto who scored The Revenant and Ghost in the Shell and lighting by Shiro Takatani from Japanese art collective Dumb Type.
