Isaac Gracie "Reverie" (Clara Aranovich, dir.)

LA-based Clara’s piece for Isaac Gracie’s ‘Reverie' is a surreal, mysterious & thought-provoking short film which leaves the viewer to interpret the meaning.

“When I think about today’s youth.... The world they’re inheriting is possibly going to be a disastrous one. It’s this feeling that begat this concept.”

The story follows a friendship between a girl who becomes ‘affected’ and her best friend, who in the face of adversity, tries to find a way to continue their lives as normal, in a touching tale of childhood friendship.

Klangarussell "Hey Maria" (Naroop, dir.)

Gas & Electric director Naroop enlists the dancing talents of The Twilight Players and they pop, lock and ‘boogaloo’ in an attempt to woo the locals.

From Naroop:

The idea for the video had been running through my head for a while. When this track came in, I felt it was the perfect opportunity.

I knew I had balance the fun and cool factor. Make it look slick, but still entertaining. This came down to casting and photography.

Swim Deep "To My Brother" (Irrum, dir.)

Irrum, director: "The band said that they felt like they were ready to shave their heads and go to war with this new record, and they wanted a video that represented that feeling. It felt like the perfect opportunity to reimagine a completely new world, rather than a representation of psychedelia we have seen before. I came up a concept that solely focused on an evolution of color; a giant spinning wheel that diffused colour to birds, botanics, and statues of the band themselves.
