Wax museums are lame. Unless you get to use a heatgun to melt that shit to the ground. Liars know how not to be lame, so while most of this video focuses on the behind-the-scenes process of getting their faces 3D-scanned and then made into wax replicas, there's a gory, yet colorful payoff at the end.
M83 partnered with Genero.tv to create videos for two of his songs: Intro and Moonchild. The official selection for Intro, directed by Nathan Kim, features a surreal pilgrimage through the Joshua Tree desert.
Like a very sexy version of a Henry James novel, the video for Drew, leaves us wondering if we really saw what we thought we saw. Director Lisa Gunning creates a languid, sensual world in and around an abandoned manor house where semi-nude models (ghosts?) wander, interact with the artist and even fly remote control airplanes.
Don't give up hope when presented with the dark reality of this new Maps video, filled with (perhaps literally) lifeless bodies. It gets better, especially for these folks.
