Herb Alpert "Puttin' On The Ritz" (CON-APP (Glenn Kaino & Afshin Shahidi), dir.)

It's not the Tijuana Brass, and its certainly not the easy visual of Whipped Cream And Other Delights, but the legendary Herb Alpert has a winning clip on his hands with an uptempo remake of "Puttin On The Ritz." Alpert makes a few cameos here — all in roles you might not expect for the man who put the A in A&M Records — but the real star is Vincent Noiseux and his fellow dancers who put on a choreographed tour-de-force in a one-take video.

In fact, I dare say this is even better than my other favorite cover of this jazz age classic.
