Scotland's Franz Ferdinand deliver a jangly, fun jaunt through a moody world of stylish art-direction and avant garde dance. Director Tim Saccenti showcases the band (and not this guy) amidst funhouse sets that seem to cross art installations with the surrealist world of 1970s kid's TV . The vibe mixes a playful spirit with a sense of something darker beneath - despite all that illumination in Blackpool.
Doug Stern writes music video treatments and is often the back half of the horse.
