Having Cher's first video in a decade drop the same week as the new Lady Gaga is probably a wet dream in some circles. And while Ms. Gaga certainly works the promo harder and pushes the needle deeper, Cher is clearly the template in every respect. And speaking of promo, one wonders if that shredded newspaper wig came before or after they hatched the idea to premiere this with UK tabloid the Daily Mail.
