Higher started off as an ode to Classified & B.o.b's first love that makes everything better, and ended up being an homage to the classic John Hughes movie WEIRD SCIENCE via mashup references to BACK TO THE FUTURE, POETIC JUSTICE, and everything 80s & 90s.
