April Towers - A Little Bit Of Fear (Official Video)

“A remarkably independent pop phenomenon” – CLASH

“If April Towers aren’t massive by the end of the year, then there is no justice in the world” - GIGWISE

“Merging gigantic synthpop glitter with the dark of post-punks like Interpol.” - THE LINE OF BEST FIT

April Towers have unveiled the video for their new single ‘A Little Bit Of Fear,’ out on the 28th August.

The video was filmed by long time associate Sean Robinson, who also directed the videos for the band’s last two singles ‘Arcadia’ and ‘No Corruption,’. ‘A Little Bit Of Fear’ was filmed in the arcades and resort of Skegness and follows the story of a young girl escaping her everyday life, as evidenced in the song’s lyrics “A summer to forget / Don’t worry cos the best it’s gonna come to you yet.”

‘A Little Bit Of Fear’ has already received support from the likes of Phil Taggart and Huw Stephens at Radio 1, who included the track in his Best of BBC Introducing Playlist. The band have also been busy touring over the summer, playing a host of UK festivals including The Great Escape, Dot-to-Dot, Lovebox and Y Not Festivals. More UK tour dates are set to be announced soon.

Consisting of Alex Noble (vocals, guitars, keyboards) and Charlie Burley (production, samples, guitars, keyboards), April Towers combine intelligent pop hooks reminiscent of Pet Shop Boys and Hot Chip with the electronic nuances of New Order and LCD Soundsystem - creating a synth-pop sound full of vibrancy and immediacy.

The band have also recently lent their remix duties to Champs, re-working their track ‘Desire’ as well as Gunship and their track ‘The Mountain.’ They have also re-worked ‘A Little Bit Of Fear’ themselves which you can listen to their soundcloud page.
