Google'' Deep Dream Generator is one of those mindbending little projects that remind that Google is a) still not evil, and b) must be slipping acid in their office water coolers. DeepDream is a perhaps impossible to describe image manipulation toy, where the Googlebrain takes a pictures and morphs it into something insanely trippy. For reasons far beyond my comprehension, it involves dogs, owls, fish and other wildlife that have seemingly been irradiated.
For example, here's what a clip from Rose McGowan's Internet-breaking music video looks like through the Deep Dream Generator:
I know. It's almost as insane as the original.
Anyway. Pouff "Grocery Trip" is apparently what it looks like when you apply the DDG to a music video. Not much happens in it, but it could give you a sense of what a Grocery Store would look like if you were the psychotic offspring of Vincent Van Gogh and Raoul Duke.
