“The video [portrays] the claustrophobic feeling I felt when writing the song,” he explains. “I’d kind of gone off the tracks and cut anyone with positive influence out of my life…and felt alone. Like the only one listening to me was God, and that ultimately shaped my faith and the person I’d become after finding my way out of that mess.
