UPSETTING - "In November on Normal Street" OFFICIAL VIDEO

“In November on Normal St.” is the last of six singles released by Upsetting in 2020. One of the first songs out of these new releases that the band recorded, the song was written not long after they experienced the loss of their drummer's cat, Donnie, who was hit by a car. This track, as well as another named "Donnie", are both about the experiences felt when losing a loved one. The very melancholy, almost creepy and soft beginning are juxtaposed against heavy crashing choruses to fully divulge the roller coaster of emotions felt when processing death and loss. This single is also the first track to include the band’s newest addition, Drew Kee (guitar), and they’re stoked to premiere how much he has helped improve their sound.
