I met Sofie (the girl in the video) when I was casting for another project and she told me about this sport she used to practice as a kid, which was voltige, and I immediately felt like doing something on this. When Tôg asked if we wanted to do a video I was working on a story about all kinds of things that drives people, different types of motivation, and I realized merging these ideas would fit the lyrics and themes Lars Christian (singer/songwriter) was talking about. Voltige proved to be the perfect backdrop for this kind of story with the running in endless circles, their ribbons and prize cups and being a sport using a live animal.”
