A Common Thread

Timbaland Jay Z, Drake, James Fauntleroy "Know Bout Me (Lyric Video)" (Jennifer Trujillo, dir.)

New Director Jennifer Trujillo has crafted a creepy concept-driven video for Timbaland’s new single "Know Bout Me" (featuring Drake, James Fauntleroy and Jay-Z). Trujillo, who directs via A Common Thread, used an abandoned Los Angeles hospital for the backdrop of a story of a mysterious young woman’s search for Timbalands lost book.

Calvin Harris "...From The Bottle" (Haycock/Rojas, dir.)

Although the premise of "Lucifer moves to Hollywood and fits right in" sounds like a sitcom, directors AG Rojas and Vincent Haycock balance the flashes of humor here — I could see actor Brad Dourif's Louis Cypher as a Borscht Belt champion  — with enough malice and mayhem (and mammaries) to push the boundaries of even Cable TV.

WATCH IT: Victoria Justice "Make It In America" (Anna Mastro, dir.)

Question: What better better symbol of American success than cruising down a wide open desert highway, top down, radio on and the wind rattling through your hair? Answer: A star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. Victoria Justice has both in the video for "Make It In America," plus her Victorious co-stars,  who know to call her when they need a killer performance at their party. --> watch "Make It In America"

WATCH IT: David Choi "Missing Piece" (Ross Ching, dir.)

A lovestory on a jigsaw puzzle gets complicated when a gust of wind sends the pieces scattering, with one "Missing Piece" never to be found. Luckily, the artistic puzzle owner is able to sketch in what's missing so singer David Choi and his love interest can get together once again. (Also notable here is the lengthy postroll and intergration with Asian fashion site yesstyle.com) --> watch "Missing Piece" plus a making-of
