Damien Ike "Kingdom Come" (Andrew Morgan, dir.)

Damien Ike - Kingdom Come

"Kingdom Come" is a brilliant slice of R&B-tinged alt-pop from British newcomer, Damien Ike. A deeply personal and triumphant track, centered around its resounding chorus, the east London singer-songwriter has carved out a chart-ready ballad of epic proportion. "'Kingdom Come' is about being in a world that changes you and expects you to be a certain way. But, really, no one will ever know you better than you know yourself; that's where you feel most home."  -  (from complex.com)

The video follows a relationship, troubled by the man's arrested development. Featuring some excellent glitchy transitions between his fantasy and her reality. Eventually she realises what it is about him that she wanted in the first place and they both breakout together.
