Marc Daniels "Dirty South" (Spencer Davies, dir.)

Marc Daniels - Dirty South Official Music Video

In his new single, Daniels gets in over his head with fiery lady to remind us all that there is truly nothing more tough and gritty than a country girl from the south!. “Dirty South” begins with a roaring baseline, twangy pedal steel guitar pedal and haunting piano with Marc’s deep baritone voice entering the first verse. While describing his descent into a tale about the allure of a sassy, no apologies, boot strapped girl from the south, Marc’s charismatic vocals shift as the track leads into the spirit-lifting chorus while proceeding on a wild adventure full of dirt bikes, race tracks, and some questionable fishing practices.

“We all know that one country girl that is sassy, powerful, tough and spirited.  She can drink, shoot, get her truck out of the mud and she’s not afraid to get her hands dirty.. No matter how hard you try to out country her, she will leave you delightfully emasculated and you love her for it,” says Marc.

To accompany Daniels’ newest single, Trespasser Productions has produced another visually tremendous music video threading the viewer on journey through chop shops, late night dirt track racing, a redneck hot tub, and some heart pounding off-roading.

“One of the best parts of making country music is getting to share my craziest personal experiences from my past with my fans. claims Daniels. “When storyboarding Dirty South, I wanted to visually capture what running through my head in those moments in hopes that listeners will smile and nod thinking (“been there done that!”).”

“Dirty South” is the first of several songs off Daniels upcoming release #HOLDMYBEER and in 2018 Marc is poised to continue to shake-up the country rock scene with his deep soulful vocals, natural storytelling and alluring music videos. After releasing his debut album “The Starting Line” back in 2016,  Daniels quickly received adamant praise from fans and media outlets as a “breath of fresh air” in a crowded country music scene. Middle Tennessee Music noted, “Marc is no stranger to what makes a great song, what gets people moving and grooving, and how to craft a single which can compete with the big boys in the industry.”
