ZZ Top must have been a marketer's dream back in 1983. The beards, the custom Eliminator car, spinning fleece guitars, a willingness to take a backseat in the video to a trio of Playboy babes and apparently no problem putting aside their blues rock roots in favor of a synth-friendly vibe that was perfectly engineered for the time.
"Legs" was where it all came together. As with many vintage videos, it's not just ridiculous in hindsight: It was also ridiculous back then, shamelessly so.
