While you count the days to the upcoming Led Zeppelin reunion gig you won't be attending — it's way sold out and, besides,  it was just rescheduled — do yourself a favor and check out singer Robert Plant's new album Rising Sand, which finds him collaborating with folk star Alison Krauss and producer T. Bone Burnett. There's not a "Black Dog" among the bunch, but it's a near perfect collection of atmospheric, yet rough-hewn roots music.

NEW RELEASE: Malajube "Le Crabe"

Lovers of French Candian indie rock, rejoice. No, it's not the mighty Arcade Fire, but the critically acclaimed Malajube who are popping up with a new video for "Le Crabe." The multi-media extravaganza was made by a few artistes who were taken by the band and decided to match some cut-and-paste elements to this similarly far-reaching and eccentric tune. --> watch "Le Crabe" (MTV2 Subterranean Debut)
