Up-and-coming director Mr. Boomtown has signed with Raging Nation Films, where he will be repped by Yvette Lange-Einczig of Yell Productions.

Mr. Boomtown's credits include:

• 2 Pistols feat. T-Pain "She Got It"
• plus videos for Slim Thug, Lil Zane and Three Kings

The 17th Annual MVPA Awards Show will take place Thursday, July 31 at the Henry Fonda Music Box Theater in Hollywood. A ticket order form will be available next week via the MVPA website.

The MVPA also announce this year's slate of honorary award recipients:

• Kratz Award for Creative Excellence: Beau Leon, colorist @ The Syndicate
• Lifetime Achievement: Nigel Dick, director @ DNA
• Hall Of Fame Video: A-Ha "Take On Me" — Steve Barron, director

Nigel Dick has directed several hundred videos and co-founded legendary video production company Propaganda Films. Prominent Dick videos include:
