WATCH IT: Pirate Signal "Saga Of Dirty Street Kids" (Randal Kirk II, dir.)

Director Randal Kirk II treats a grafitti artist's murder as if it were a modern-day Bibllical tale in this ambitious clip for The Pirate Signal. The ambitious clip lives up to the "Saga" aspect of the sing title, tracing the real life tale of SkAR, an underground street artist as he rises from very humble beginnings only to wind up in trouble when he tags over a rival crew's wall (more details on SkAR and the video here).   --> watch "The Saga Of  Dirty Street Kids"

WATCH IT: Living Sisters "How Are You Doing" (Michel Gondry, dir.)

While the miracle of chilbirth is (often literally) the central frame in this new Michel Gondry video, it's surrounded by all sorts of calamity, ranging from earthquakes to plane crashes and so much more. All of it has that twee Gondry charm of course, which nicely complements the sweet sounds of The Living Sisters, a collaboration between L.A. singers Becky Stark, Inara George and Eleni Mandell. --> watch "How Are You Doing"

WATCH IT: Trumpeter Swan "Eternal Pessimist" (Jeremy Phillips, dir.)

Sometimes even the worst pessimist needs to have a little faith that metamorphosis is taking place. This trippy NYC adventure video for Trumpeter Swan stars some upside-down chin characters plus a woman who transforms from human to butterfly. --> watch "Eternal Pessimist"
