Videostatic.com has remained largely the same since launching in 2005, bringing attention to the directors, producers and other creatives who make music videos.
Over the years we have built an amazing community of professionals and fans who realized that music videos weren't a thing of past, but actually the future of how music would be experienced. And that future is upon us.
Videostatic 2.0 shares the same bones as the site you've come to trust as the authoritative source for music videos and related news. The voice and underlying goals of Videostatic.com have not changed, but this relaunch allows us to amplify both.
The biggest change is one which addresses a challenge we've faced ever since the site took off and we began receiving more submissions than we could possibly spotlight. Now, you can submit information directly to videostatic — production credits, video links, a photo or other image, and even descriptions or background information. Registrations and submissions are free, and if you want to see your videos get fast-tracked, we suggest you check out that Register link in the top right corner, since it's much simpler and faster than the old way of emailing me information.
And, as you click around the site, you'll notice lots of other changes and upgrades. We'll draw more attention to those a bit further down the line, but you'll find this system to be much smarter and more nimble than the old site.
Our hope is to help bring the creative community of music videos together in a way that's never been possible before. But, we'll need your help and involvement to fully maximize the potential effects we can have.
