I don't know if wine can actually turn to turpentine — although a Google search led me to this interesting link — but I understand the song's sentiment of a good thing that eventually becomes a bit overwhelming and, besides, I believe a pretty song trumps any small gaps in logic and this latest from Brandi Carlile is downright gorgous.
