Description: If you think Coldplay are an absolutely humorless bunch, the video for "Talk" may change your mind. Take the opening band shot, for example. There they are, wearing dorky 3D glasses as they sit in a pretend spaceship. Their craft then touches down on a strange planet where Chris Martin and co. scout out the new terrain like a bunch of boys on their first camping trip. Their explorations bear fruit when they stumble upon a giant, clunky robot that they bring to life. It's all a little bit ridiculous (purposely so, of course), but it does capture the innocent, heartfelt and searching nature of the lyrics. Oh, and if you still think Coldplay are a bunch of blowhards, you can at least take delight in the closing scenes when their flying saucer gets eaten by the robot.
