Let's clear up some misconceptions before we get to this video. A seawolf is not actually a wolf. It's a fish. The Sea-Wolf is an early 20th Century novel by Jack London about an "intellectual forced to become tough and self-reliant by exposure to cruelty and brutality" — OK, I never read it; the description is from Wikipedia's entry on The Sea-Wolf. Sea World is where you can see killer whales jump through hoops for our amusement. Sea Wolf is also a classic submarine hunt arcade game (thank you, 30Frames). Sea Wolf — the band — is a project that brings to life the songs of former Irving member Alex Brown Church. "You're A Wolf" and many of the other tunes on the debut EP Get To The River Before It Runs Too Low are essentially acoustic murder ballads as filtered through the lens of modern rock. Church shares the spotlight in the video with a band that's essentially a who's who of the Silverlake scene, including Silversun Pickups Brian Aubert and Joe Lester on guitar and bass, respectively, and Great Northern frontman Solon Bixler on drums.
