WATCH IT: Beyonce "Party" (Beyonce + Alan Ferguson, dir.)

Most people use their videos as a chance to see what it's like to try on the trappings of the 1% Lifestyle.  Fancy cars, mansions, etc, etc. Beyonce doesn't need to play pretend for all that, so we get the inverse of the template: Beyonce as the hottest trailer park girl you've ever seen. (And if you keep track of this sort of stuff: J Cole drops a verse and there's a cameo by B's Destiny's Child mate, Kelly Rowland)--> watch "Party"

I was so ready to say 'Ugh not ANOTHER Beyonce video ...' but working with a new director seems to suit her. Light hearted and fun.

Agreed. Though I think her video with Adria Petty was also great. Beyond great, actually.

honestly it looks like trash shot on a 7D out of the box. home videos have looked better.

Shouldn't the shooting style match the overall "trailer fabulous" vibe they're going for?
