WATCH IT: Ida Maria "I Like You So Much Better..."

Ida Maria Swedish director Jonas Odell utilizes a variety of new wavish color clashes, plus other situationist and pop art techniques — even including a handy outline of the video's main elements — to capture that retro punk, yet pop vibe that of Scandinavian export Ida Maria. The overall cut-n-paste effect is not dissimilar to what Odell did in his U.S. breakthrough Franz Ferdinand "Take Me Out" video, but being that this song is called "I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked," we get some x-ray spex, unpeeled bananas and other wink-wink-nudge-nudge elements to cheekily convey the spirit of that lyric. --> watch "I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked" plus a Making-Of featurette
