I've lately been posting lots of stop-motion photograph videos and noting the number of photos used. Not sure why I provide that number, other than out of some gawking, "That's a lotta photos" celebration of OCD film making. Anyway. This sharp stop-motion piece for the trip-hoppy Jem consists of 25,632 photos that show the singer performing in a variety of guises. The story behind the clip is relayed by Jem herself at her blog and involves Jesse Dylan, Murakami and a "mustache man" (aka director Saam Gabbay). --> watch "It's Amazing" (Quicktime)
