Rihanna's "S&M" video is the gift that keeps on giving to lawyers and billable hours.
Having already settled with photographer/director/artist David LaChapelle over the alleged appropriation of his imagery in the video, German photographer Philipp Paulus is seeking restitution and an injunction over other scenes similar to his photo series depicting a woman under clear plastic scrawled with black X's.
If he wins, the video could potentially be removed offline, which probably wouldn't be a huge loss, since I'm sure everyone is tired of the headache and,despite having nearly 50 million views, it's barely been viewed since July 2011:
