These are three videos he likes...

Michael Pierce, producer: (note: These are videos that Michael thinks are great, not videos that he actually produced)

  1. Bjork "Its Oh So Quiet"
I love this video for several reasons. First, it is absolutely fun and keeps you watching for the next payoff, which it never fails to deliver. I also love this video from the technical standpoint. There are so many great camera moves and edit points. The choreography and characters are awesome and the execution of the entire music video is nearly flawless. This video shows what can be done organically with foresight and craftsmanship.

  2. Stone Temple Pilots "Interstate Love Song"
This is such a fantastic performance video. Director Kevin Kerslake nailed the essence of the band. Scott Weiland is such a Rock God in this video. He looks so healthy and on top of his game. You can also see the entire band's trust in one another. That obviously evaporated shortly after this video was made. The footage of the pink boa feathers floating against the desert landscape is pure money and hundreds of videos since have tried to recapture the rooftop performance. Stylized, effective, organic and not contrived.

  3. Moby featuring Gwen Stefani "Southside"
This video works on so many levels. It's humorous, sarcastic and has beautiful cinematography, top-notch production design, great editing and perfect performances by Moby and Gwen Stefani. The casting is also impeccable in this video. Its "over the top/taking the piss aesthetic" is, dare I say, perfect.
