What starts as an animation-laced creepshow that looks a bit like a meandering Victorian French nightmare suddenly snaps to attention as the track finds its groove and gets more and more unexpected, while remaining remarkably ambitious. Director Thomas Goldser one-ups each and every twist of this almost operatic multi-part epic from The Moulettes with largely stop-motion live-action visuals that veer from Baroque to Goth with a sense of humor that feels like Michel Gondry remaking Bohemian Rhapsody. --> "Devil Of Mine" (Vimeo Link)
