XX member Jamie XX's collaboration with spoken word legend Gil Scott-Heron serves as the soundtrack for this mini documentary about Nisa Rodriguez.
AG Rojas, co-director: "For "I'll Take Care of U" Jamie-James & I set out to create an intimate portrait of Nisa Rodriguez, a 19 year-old female boxer and two-time Golden Gloves champ from the Bronx. She's an incredibly charismatic and energetic character, who spends every moment of her life either training, fighting and taking care of her son - trying to give him and the rest of her family a better life and move them out of the projects. We decided to frame the video around her last Golden Gloves title fight: her comeback victory after having her baby who she nicknamed Torito (Little Bull)."
