WATCH IT: Coldplay "Charlie Brown" (Mat Whitecross, dir.)

I wonder how many unsolicited treatments would have starred Linus and Lucy and, of course, Charlie Brown. I also wonder what it would cost to license that Peanuts gang for a music video. The band's somewhat default video director Mat Whitecross taps into what the song really seems to be about, following a renegade couple who make their way to a Coldplay gig where they passionately lose themselves along with the rest of the glowstick crowd. --> watch "Charlie Brown"
