Mining The Prelinger Archives for Secret Colours "It Can't Be Simple"

The Prelinger Archives is like the hip, weird version of a traditional stock footage house. A 1947 film about "The Private Life Of A Cat?" They have it. A tutorial on how to use a bank from that same year? You bet. A 1935 documentary about bananas? You bet. And of course they have my favorite: Shake Hands With Danger, a '70s era industrial film about how not to get mauled on a construction site.

Secret Colours "It Can't Be Simple" mines the audio engineering and stereolab fringes of the archives for all of its footage, coming across with perfect retro-futuristic pitch.
