"Will wants to die. Faced with a dead-end job as a dock hand, the girl of his dreams leaving him for another (richer) man, and the aftermath of a previous failed suicide attempt, he decides to do it right this time: on a whim, Will drives a boat out to sea till the gas runs out, throws the radio overboard and resigns himself to waste away in the middle of the ocean. He is left alone with the hallucinations of his hunger, painkiller and depression-addled mind."
