Landshapes

Landshapes "Francois" (Tim Travers Hawkins, dir.)

She may live above a humdrum cornershop, but virtual reality takes her far, far away.

Tim Travers-Hawkins, director: "I wanted to create a sensory journey into an unknown, alluring, uncertain world. I wanted to look into the subtext of of self-discovery, pleasure and release in the song's lyrics, to create something abstract enough to allow us all to project ourselves into the spaces, but with a striking lead to take us through the experience.

Very soon VR will be radically reshaping our relationship with sex, art and performance. I love to play, mixing technology, mysticism and magic, subverting the idea of technology as ‘progress’ and observing our evolving intimate relationship with screens and images."
