Jennifer Lopez f/ Pitbull "Live It Up" (Jessy Terrero, dir.)

Jennifer Lopez - Live It Up ft. Pitbull

Don't be concerned with chronology here: How Jennifer Lopez gets from a Paris runway to a beach blast with Pitbull in Miami is irrelevant. All that matters is she looks good and indeed she does. She also gets to show both sides of her persona — a) the icy superstar that is J.Lo, getting glammed for an elaborate fashion show — totally unfazed by the chaos and product placements — and b) Jenny from the block beach, leading the fiesta from the sand into the sea.

Snoop Lion "No Guns Allowed" (Jessy Terrero, dir.)

Snoop Lion ft. Drake and Cori B. - "No Guns Allowed" (Official Video)

The Rasta conversion of rapper Snoop Dogg into reggae toaster Snoop Lion is no joke — something made clear in the Reincarnated documentary and put into practice with "No Guns Allowed." News footage of school massacres is matched with stark b/w footage of kids playing with guns and up-close of shots of Snoop and his daughter, Cori B, who sings on the track.

WATCH IT: Three 6 Mafia "Feel It"

Video concept: Set Three 6 Mafia loose for a wild night in Las Vegas. Superstar club DJ Tiesto on the turntables. Sean Kingston and Flo Rida along for the ride. Lots of hot Vegas locations and hot eye candy, plus a cameo by Paris Hilton*. Problem is, a video shoot with all that crew and equipment doesn't offer the kind of spontaneity that would really allow things to really take off. So, director Rich Newey jettisoned the usual gear in favor of shooting HD 1080 footage on a few Canon 5D and 7D still cameras, utilizing mostly natural light [if natural is the right term to describe the light, or anything about Vegas.
