Sky Blu "Salud" (Wilmer Valderrama, dir.)

TV star Wilmer Valderrama puts on a 10 gallon directing hat for this massive Western set-piece that imagines LMFAO member SkyBlu as the man who will put a stop to a milk prohibition. Sure, it's silly — knowingly so, which is why it's presented as a movie parody — but it's coming from someone who knows the value in going over-the-top.

Chris Brown "Don't Think They Know" (Chris Brown, dir.)

Chris Brown feat. Aaliyah - Don't Think They Know

There is a lot going on in this new Chris Brown video, least of which is that he directed the video himself. At one point, Breezy seems to be making an anti-gang violence plea with the Boyz in the Hood  'bailing out of the drive by' scene. Then there's the ghostly Aaliyah performance which is sure to inspire calls for a duet remix with the Pac-ogram from last year's Coachella. Throughout, the ramped up red and blue colors recall Sean Penn driving around in a yellow car, and the star/director's hair and shimmering wardrobe make it look like he walked right up to the line of going full-Sisqo. In the midst of all this, we are left with the message: How bad of a guy can he be? Look at all those adorable kids!

Doug Stern also writes music video treatments and solves gang violence.

The Ceremonies "Land of Gathering" (Clarence Fuller, dir.)

The Ceremonies - "Land of Gathering" (Official Video)

The brothers Cook - Matthew, Mark and Michael - are out exploring the snowy streets of New York, and oh look, someone just happened to bring a camera along. Director Clarence Fuller showcases his fashion world bonafides with a moody black and white approach that complements the impromptu vibe the band is going for.

Melanie Fiona "Wrong Side..." (Larenz Tate, dir.)

Melanie Fiona "Wrong Side Of A Love Song" [Official Video]

There's some star power behind this new Melanie Fiona — it premiered on Jay-Z's Life+Times site, stars Omari Hardwick, and was directed by actor Larenz Tate  (Menace II Society and lots more) — but the video would stand alone even without those talking points.
