David Byrne's Luaka Bop has a damn good track record at unearthing the world's best ahead-of-its-time musical treasures — case in point: Brazil's cracked tropicalia genius Tom Ze — and the latest find is the '70s funk/soul master William Onyeabor of Nigeria. This animated clip by Nicolai Troshinsky — who's another perfect Luaka Bop collaborator thanks to his official bio description as a "Spanish, Russian-born film maker, illustrator and experimental video games designer" — brings "Atomic Bomb" to life with the right blend of haunting love and cold war vibes.
