London: 30th January 2014. Rattling Stick director, Ed Morris, enters the world of Music Video creating and directing a compelling film for new artist We Are Shining featuring Eliza Doolittle. The track is called ‘Killing’.
This promo capitalizes on the power of viral marketing to reach an audience beyond its current fan base. It presents itself as a piece of highly share-worthy content into which the music features as an integral part of the idea.

Ed Morris says: “I basically showed them a film clip of some knife throwing and another of a girl dancing and said I wanted to put the two together. The band loved it immediately and just let me get on with it.”

Ed’s move into directing followed an impressive career in advertising where he was described as one of the best and most awarded creatives of his generation. He has been announced as Creative Director of the year by Campaign, received the President’s Award by the Creative Circle and had work entered in to the Clio hall of fame.
So far Ed’s time at Rattling Stick has been prolific. His first film #PubLooShocker for the Department For Transport recieved over 8 million hits in its first week. He has also shot ads for Stowford Press Cider, Adidas, Greenpeace and the Cybersmile Foundation and has recently completed a documentary about maverick filmmaker, Tony Kaye.
He has been named as one of the future stars of TV production by Jason Stone in The Drum, was shortlisted in the best new Director categories at both the Shots and British Arrows Craft Awards and made the top-ten director list in Campaign in his debut year.
