X-Ambassadors "Ahead Of Myself" (Jake Kovnat, dir.)

A great journey of a music video that's especially notable for two reasons:

1. Singer Sam Harris delivers a live vocal in the video, instead of lip-syncing, which is trick rarely attempted in music videos. My favorite example? Bruce Springsteen's post Born In The USA videos, starting with "Brilliant Disguise," which director Meiert Avis brilliantly breaks down on his detailed blog.

2. It's shot in Rochester, which used to be a film town, so there's some resonance there. And, it's somewhat close to X-Amabassadors' Ithaca hometown.
