NEWS: MTV & Microsoft Announce Urge Music Service

MTV Networks and Microsoft today announced a new digital music service called Urge. Slated to launch sometime in 2006, Urge will be a digital download service integrated into a future version of Windows Media Player. In addition to offering over two million tracks of all music genres from both major and indie labels, Urge will also provide exclusive and original MTV content. Some details and executive comments are in the official Press Release. No details can be found at Urge.com. A full unveiling has been promised for this January's International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

NEWS: Resfest Screening & Awards Announcement Tonight

Our L.A. readers are encouraged to check out this evening's Res screening at the Egyptian Theatre.
