BOOKED: Brett Dennen - Ulf Buddensieck & Susan Agostinelli-Buddensieck, directors

Moved after hearing "The Holidays Are Here (and We're Still At War)" on Chris Douridas' show on Santa Monica NPR station KCRW, director Ulf Buddensieck and Susan Agostinelli-Buddensieck contacted folk troubadour Brett Dennen to offer their services in making a free video for this anti-war tune. The documentary-styled shoot will take place this week in and around Los Angeles, featuring Dennen in performance at mall parking lots and above the (always) packed area highways.

"The Holidays Are Here (and We're Still At War)" is available for free download at brettdennen.com.

Videocast: Director Cat Solen on Bright Eyes "At The Bottom Of Everything"

Video Static is very pleased to present this video podcast of the new Bright Eyes clip "At The Bottom Of Everything" directed by Cat Solen. The video is a mix of handmade animation in which a group of  aggressive clouds decide to wage war on commercial airliners and live action footage of how the passengers aboard one of these planes react to their dire straits. Actors in the video include Terrance Stamp, Evan Rachel Wood and Brady Corbet.

BOOKED: Juvenile - Ben Mor, director

Raised in the notorious Magnolia housing projects in New Orleans and still a resident of the area, Juvenile returns to his hometown to remind viewers of the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina. Footage from his tour will be used in a short documentary piece and in a video for the track, "Get Ya Hustle On." Unlike many of the artists who have participated in Katrina relief efforts, Juvenile was personally affected by the catastrophe. His home was destroyed and many of his relatives and friends were trapped in the city and suffered similar losses.
