NEWS: Merge @ Crossroads Director Signings

Merge @ Crossroads has announced the signings of Jon And Warren, Terri Timely, and Shaun Silva to their directors roster.

  • The directing team of Jon And Warren consists of Ficherspooner member Warren Fischer and the band's longtime visual collaborator Jon Kane.
  • Directing duo Terri Timely has created videos for Joanna Newsom, Laura Veirs, The Exit, Bobby Birdman and The Wrens.
  • Shaun Silva is an established director in the Nashville music scene. Merge @ Crossroads will be repping him for mainstream and non-country video work.

SHOT: Junkie XL - Glenn Cole, director

72andSunny Creative Director Glenn Cole and DJ/remixer Junkie XL first worked together on a Nike ad that featured a custom-made remix of the Elvis Presley tune, "A Little Less Conversation." The song quickly became a worldwide hit. The duo have teamed up again with a video that Cole directed for JXL's new single, "Today." The clip casts the JXL as a barber who specializes in outlandish hairdos.

SHOT: Birmingham J - Mr. Kelly, director

Director Mr. Kelly uses a "there goes the neighborhood" concept for this video with rapper Birmingham J.  Guest starring as the perplexed neighbor in this posh Birmingham, AL neighborhood is American Idol champ Ruben Studdard.
